Fredericksburg has long been known for shopping. Strolling up and down historic main street you will find more than 100 locally owned shops, boutiques, jewelry, hat and boot shops, antiques, and other novelties. Another favorite destination is Wild Seed Farms which has plants, home goods, wine, and food...it's a really fun place to visit year round, and very close!
Firefly Resort usually has live music at the clubhouse (on property) on Friday and Saturday nights, along with food trucks. Luckenbach venue is less than a mile away from Firefly (if you listen carefully you can sometimes hear the music from Firefly Resort. Nearby Cities and Attractions
Luckenbach is only a couple of minutes away from Firefly and a great place to see live music most every day. They have a fun, historical general store rich with history as well as other shopping. San Antonio is only an hour away and is rich with culture, shopping, and don't forget Seaworld and Fiesta Texas. Kerrville and Boerne are only about 30 minutes away and offer plenty to see and do. Blanco has a neat downtown square is quaint and fun with some small shops and restaurants. Check out Blanco River State Park if you are interested in swimming or hanging out in the river.
Events and Festivals
The Fredericksburg area is rich with festivals and events throughout the year. Oktoberfest, Bluegrass Festival, Rodeo, Grape Stomps, and Light the Night Christmas Parade, just to name a few. Click here to learn and see more.
